I feel pleasure in addressing the perspective of students and parents of the Govt. College of Physical Education for Women, Dinhata. This institution is contributing eye lance from 1985. From the bud in Dinhata Girl’s High School, it is now in its own land, entered in N.C.T.E shadow in 2007 to blossom and it is growing flourish till now. Our college is now affiliated to the Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University and included under section 2(f) and 12 (b) of the University Grant Commission Act. This prestigious academy provides unique opportunities for the overall development of the young minds not only in sports but in its secure and conductive atmosphere.

This college is among the four colleges of its own kind and fully run by Education Directorate, Govt. of West Bengal mainly a tradition of human values in mind of the female teachers. In present the college is offering virtual well furnished Classrooms, Computer Lab, Human Performance Lab, quality standard Hostel Facility, Sports Library, Multipurpose Conditioning Hall with proper maintenance. The college has adopted new education policy and introduce two years semester base course which will help students in further development their studies and move to the all over country. It is the only Govt. Physical Education Training College for Women in entire North Bengal.
